Our Scholarship Fund is a charity registered with the Canada Revenue Agency and is operated as set out by CRA, the Trustee Act of Ontario and the CFUW Welland & District Charitable Trust Scholarship Fund Constitution.

The sole purpose of our charity is to fund scholarships and bursaries. Our goal is to build up the fund to the point where it is self-sustaining in funding annual scholarships, which are given to eight local high schools. The main source of funding has been our annual book sale but is no longer a source due to change.

Each year, we provide a $1000 scholarship through the local high schools to a female graduating student. New for 2025, CFUW Welland & District has added a $1000 scholarship to a Niagara College female indigenous student.
